We are seeking Power BI Developers to design, build, and optimise management information and reporting solutions that support critical business processes. Working across workflow and integration data layers, you will transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders. As part of a lean team, you will take ownership of deliverables end-to-end—from requirements through to deployment and ongoing optimisation.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI semantic models, reports, and dashboards aligned to business requirements
- Build efficient, scalable DAX measures and calculations
- Develop and optimise Power Query (M) transformations and underlying SQL queries
- Manage the reporting ecosystem, including refresh schedules, row-level security, and workspace governance
- Collaborate with data teams on upstream modelling and with stakeholders on report design and usability
- Support incident management and defect resolution across the reporting layer
- Continuously improve performance, usability, and scalability of MI solutions
Essential skills and experience
- Strong, hands‑on Power BI delivery experience (not purely analytical or purely data engineering)
- Advanced DAX and Power Query (M) capability
- Proven track record delivering MI solutions end‑to‑end, from requirements through to production use
- Strong understanding of visualisation best practices and information design
- Experience with Power BI Service administration (gateways, capacities, deployment pipelines)
- Exposure to financial services or regulated environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric
