Title -HR Business Partner
Reports to: HR Director
Role Purpose
This role will act as a senior contributor, shaping and delivering the HR agenda within Delta Capita Partnering with key stakeholders and business line leads in order to support the delivery of the people strategy.
Through collaborative working relationships with the business, this role will manage BAU activity and key people-related changes; identifying current and future people related opportunities, challenges and risks, and agree initiatives that support the business’ strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with other HR business partners and business line leads to deliver the people agenda, identifying current and future people-related business needs
- Collaborate with other business partners and support the development of wider HR capability, sharing best practice for an enhanced service offering and consistency of approach
- Raise awareness of current and anticipated opportunities, challenges and risks to inform current and future people related decisions and activity
- Use commercial understanding of the business to ensure all people activity is consistent with current and future business needs and is aligned to business objectives
- Coach leaders to manage change, develop people and lead a positive culture
- Provide expert advice and solutions in ER and performance management to support managers on disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, sickness, employee engagement and other people-related matters
- Manage complex disciplinary and grievance cases where required
- Proactively work with business line leads to monitor key KPIs such as absence and attrition and address issues through relevant HR activity
- Act as a point of escalation for the business lines for any potential people related risks and ensure any known risks are managed appropriately
- Lead on HR-related projects
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are fit for purpose and amend/create new policies where required
- Management of performance and salary review processes
- Contribute to the companies sustainability and DEI strategy and targets
- Act as a role model in living the Delta Capita values.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Experience in a similar role
- Ability to think strategically and to apply commercialism and judgement to complex information and situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to forge highly effective business relationships
- Skilled facilitator and presenter with the ability to quickly build trust and rapport with others
- Collaborative team player
Experience in:
- Employee Relations
- Performance Management
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent level qualification
- CIPD or equivalent qualification
Desired:
- Experience in global payroll and benefits management.
