As part of this evolution, we're now seeking a talented Finance Controller to join the team.
We're looking for a hands-on Finance Controller to oversee the full financial function of the business. Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll lead financial planning, ensure robust and accurate monthly reporting, support strategic decision-making, and strengthen financial controls across the organisation. - Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Provide insight and analysis to support strategic decisions
- Deliver monthly management accounts, board packs, and variance commentary
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Project Profitability & Margin Control
- Partner with QS and Commercial teams on CVRs, WIP, and project profitability
- Cashflow & Risk Management
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Financial Operations
- Oversee AP/AR, balance sheet integrity, and fixed assets
- Coach, support, and develop the finance team
Strong financial and accounting experience (SME background preferred). Exposure to audited accounts or FTSE environments desirable. Strong problem-solver with project management capability. Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred. CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified (or working towards). Strong academic background considered.
