Southmere Primary Academy is looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to join our academy in September 2025, on a full-time, temporary basis. If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience required for this position, then we would very much like to hear from you.

Southmere Primary Academy is a large primary academy with up to 420 pupils, including a 15-place nursery. The academy serves a diverse community with families from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. Southmere is a good school with a highly inclusive ethos. We provide outstanding provision for Personal Development and we believe that, through the pursuit of excellence, every child can achieve great things.

Our curriculum is designed to promote learning which is active, engaging, and personalised. We view the teaching and learning process as a partnership between the school, pupils, and their parents.
