Overview
Cybersecurity Manager
Location: Plymouth/Hybrid – expectation 2-days per week in office/site visits
Salary: Up to £50,000 p.a. (DOE) plus performance bonus
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week)

We’re looking for a Cybersecurity Manager to lead a high-performing team and shape the security strategy that keeps our infrastructure, customers and communities safe.
This role sits at the heart of Delt’s cybersecurity operations. It requires an experienced leader who can balance strategic direction with operational delivery. From managing incident response and vulnerability remediation, to engaging with executive stakeholders and driving compliance, you’ll ensure Delt and its customers remain resilient in an evolving threat landscape.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading Delt’s internal cybersecurity strategy and operations
- Managing a team of skilled cybersecurity professionals
- Overseeing incident response, threat detection and vulnerability management
- Supporting audit, compliance and regulatory reporting across frameworks like Cyber Essentials Plus, CAF, NHS DSPT and ISO/IEC 27001
- Producing regular dashboards, risk registers and board-level updates
- Building trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Advising on secure design and implementation across IT and business projects
- Coordinating regular security assessments and ensuring timely remediation
- Managing the cybersecurity budget, forecasting and resource planning
What We’re Looking For
- A proven IT leader with experience managing people and risks
- Strong technical understanding of security tooling, incident response, and information governance
- Experience working with public sector cyber security frameworks such as cyber assessment framework, PSN, and DSPT, would be highly desirable
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Professional security certification desirable (e.g. CISSP, CISM)
- Must hold a clean driving licence and be happy to work on-site a few times per week
