Responsibilities:
- Internalize business requirements and objectives to drive design from rough concepts to final pixel-perfect implementation.
- Partner with User Research and participate in research engagements to gather insights that inform our product direction.
- Participate in usability testing sessions and analyse results to inform design decisions.
- Work cross-functionally and build successful team relationships with talented team members across design, engineering, product management, sales, and marketing.
- Present design concepts and solutions to the team and stakeholders, effectively communicating the rationale behind design decisions.
- Collaborate with other design colleagues to maintain design consistency and coherence across products.
- Ensure that designs adhere to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve design processes and tools.
- May be required to support additional products/brands within Perforce as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 + years working in a digital product/user experience design position.
- A bachelor’s degree or industry recognized certifications in a Design related discipline.
- Strong design instincts – understand what works and doesn’t work for people and why, and push beyond the obvious to create compelling human experiences.
- Commitment to problem solving and making complex things elegant and easy for people to use.
- Ability to showcase your end-to-end design process that includes workflow diagrams and wireframes, interaction and visual design artifacts, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Comfortable in a highly technical environment. Our users are DevOps professionals who face complex technical challenges. While you don’t need to be a DevOps expert to succeed in this role, you must be willing to learn the basic concepts to understand our users’ challenges.
- Impeccable attention to detail across pixels, copywriting, and overall design direction.
