As a Recovery Practitioner within Delphi’s Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service in HMP Manchester, you will work collaboratively with the integrated team to provide clinical and psychosocial support to individuals experiencing issues with Drugs and Alcohol in a secure setting. This is a really rewarding opportunity where you will be able to provide support to individuals through their recovery journeys, enabling real change.
Responsibilities:
- 1:1 intervention
- Group work delivery
- 2nd signing duties
- Assessments
- Referrals
- Carrying out VDTS MDT meetings
- Overall support of patients’ desire for change
You will work closely with the other Recovery practitioners, Recovery Nurses, Support workers, administrators, Lead Nurse and Care Coordinators. This is an exciting and rewarding role where you’ll be able to positively impact people’s future, improving their prospects and their quality of life.
