Mental Health Support Worker / Rehabilitation Assistant

Mansfield | £13.23 per hour | Full Time | Bonus Scheme Available

Looking for a role where what you do genuinely matters?

Delphi Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a specialist mental health rehabilitation service in Mansfield.

This isn't your typical support worker role and it isn't your typical care home.

You'll be joining a service that helps people rebuild their confidence, regain their independence and work towards moving back into the community. Every person you support is on their own recovery journey, and you'll play a key part in helping them get there.

The service is proud to have achieved the rare distinction of being rated Outstanding in all five areas by CQC, something very few services ever accomplish. As a result, you'll be joining a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional care and achieving the very best outcomes for the people they support.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are ever the same.

You could be helping someone develop everyday living skills, supporting them to attend appointments, taking part in activities in the community, or simply providing encouragement during a difficult day.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting people with daily living and personal care where required
  • Encouraging independence and positive recovery outcomes
  • Building trusting, professional relationships
  • Supporting activities, hobbies and community engagement
  • Working alongside nurses, therapists and healthcare professionals
  • Promoting dignity, choice and person-centred care
  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns appropriately
  • Maintaining accurate records and communication
  • Creating a safe, supportive and positive environment

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for people with the right attitude.

You don't need to have years of experience. What matters most is that you're caring, reliable and genuinely want to help others.

You may already work as a:

  • Support Worker
  • Mental Health Support Worker
  • Healthcare Assistant
  • Care Assistant
  • Rehabilitation Assistant
  • Residential Support Worker

Or you may be looking for a career where you can make a real difference every day.

You'll be:

  • Compassionate and patient
  • Positive and encouraging
  • Reliable and professional
  • A strong team player
  • Resilient and calm under pressure
  • Keen to learn and develop

Previous mental health experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Shift Pattern

This role involves a mixture of:

  • Early shifts: 07:15 - 14:30
  • Late shifts: 14:15 - 21:30
  • Night shifts: 21:15 - 07:30

35 hours per week on a rotating rota.

Rotas are issued six weeks in advance.

What's In It For You?

  • £13.23 per hour
  • Annual performance and attendance bonus of up to £750
  • Additional paid training opportunities through the company's academy programme
  • Free meals while on shift
  • Free onsite parking
  • 28 days annual leave
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Genuine opportunities for career progression
  • The chance to be part of an Outstanding-rated team

Why Apply?

There are plenty of support worker jobs out there.

Very few offer the opportunity to work in an Outstanding service where recovery, progress and helping people move forward sits at the heart of everything the team does.

If you want a role where you can go home knowing you've made a difference to somebody's day, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today through Delphi Care Solutions.
