We are seeking an experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager or Deputy Manager looking to progress into the next career phase; to lead a new residential EBD setting in Chesterfield. Are you a passionate and dedicated leader who can drive a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating and transform outcomes for looked-after children? Then this is the right fit and opportunity for you.

Requirements

  • Proven track record achieving ‘Good’/‘Outstanding’ with Ofsted as a Registered/Deputy Manager
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience (within last 5 years) in residential childcare
  • At least 1 year in staff supervision/management
  • Working knowledge of The Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, SCCIF, and Working Together 2023
  • Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – must be willing to work towards Level 5 Diploma
  • Strong safeguarding, team management, and IT skills
  • UK driving licence and vehicle access
  • DBS Enhanced check
