Job Title: Registered Home Care Manager (Domiciliary Care)
Location: Bordon, Hampshire (covering surrounding areas)
Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + performance‑related bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8am‑6pm with on‑call availability)

Delphi Care Solutions Ltd is supporting a values‑driven independent domiciliary care agency based in Guildford, Hampshire. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Home Care Manager to set up and lead its new service across Guildford and surrounding areas. This is a career‑defining opportunity to shape a service from its early days, working closely with the Director and CEO to build a reputation for excellence, compassion, and person‑centred care.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the recruitment, selection, and induction of new carers, ensuring all safeguarding and compliance checks are completed
- Deliver high‑quality training aligned with the Care Certificate standards
- Assist in selecting and implementing care management software
- Plan and manage advertising and outreach to attract new service users
- Oversee daily operations of the domiciliary care service
- Manage and support the care team, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and high‑quality care
- Maintain CQC compliance and quality assurance standards
- Ensure safe, effective care delivery with accurate documentation
- Update company policies alongside senior management
- Conduct care assessments, manage risk, and oversee safeguarding
- Lead on infection control, health and safety, and complaints handling
- Undertake home visits to assess needs and monitor quality
- Develop person‑centred care plans with service users, families, and professionals
- Support business growth in line with company values
- Recruit, induct, and supervise care staff
- Manage rotas and staffing levels to ensure continuity
- Share responsibility for the on‑call rota, including out‑of‑hours support
Requirements
Essential
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager in domiciliary (home) care
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and legal requirements
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Full UK driving licence (no more than 3 penalty points)

- Train the Trainer qualification
