Client Background
Our client launched out in 2024 providing private autism and ADHD assessments for adults, children, and families nationwide in the UK. They have successfully launched 50 hubs nationwide with a bank of Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Clinical/Forensic/Educational/Counselling Psychologists, Consultant Psychiatrists and Consultant Paediatricians. The client delivers high-quality, multi-disciplinary assessments that adhere to NICE guidelines and is now looking to expand their services into ADHD medication, operating initially out of their new location clinic in Solihull, with a view to expand services in other areas nationally. The organisation is currently led by two Clinical Psychologists, with over 15 years of experience in both the NHS and private practice and now seek a highly experienced and competent individual to join their clinical team to lead on this area of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the named CQC Registered Manager, leading the application process and CQC interview.
- Develop, review, and implement all policies, procedures, and governance systems to meet CQC regulations.
- Prepare for and respond to CQC inspections, implementing action plans from audits and feedback.
- Act as Safeguarding Lead, managing incidents, complaints, whistleblowing, and serious concerns.
- Oversee clinician registration, supervision, consent, documentation, and patient safety.
- Lead the ADHD medication and titration pathway, ensuring NICE guideline compliance.
- Conduct ADHD assessments and diagnostic reports.
- Once CQC-approved, lead the service operationally while prescribing and titrating ADHD medications.
Requirements
- Proficiency in the full ADHD assessment and medication management pathway.
- Active registration with a recognised professional body (e.g., GMC, NMC, HCPC).
- Proven experience with CQC registration and inspections, providing clinical expertise.
- Ability to work independently with a strong focus on quality and integrity.
- Experience assessing and treating both adults and children with ADHD.
- Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager with full awareness of statutory duties.
- Leadership experience managing clinical pathways and multidisciplinary teams.
