Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead the opening of a new specialist home supporting children with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. This is a unique opportunity to shape the culture, build your team and create an outstanding service from day one. You will work closely with Ofsted specialists Delphi Care Solutions to successfully register the home and help deliver high quality, trauma informed care that enables young people to thrive.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Children’s Home Manager:

  • Lead the Ofsted registration process and maintain full regulatory compliance
  • Establish the home including policies, procedures and Statement of Purpose
  • Recruit, lead and develop a high performing staff team
  • Deliver person centred care that supports wellbeing, independence and positive outcomes
  • Work closely with families, local authorities, education and health professionals
  • Manage safeguarding, staffing, budgets and quality assurance

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or above
  • Minimum three years experience as a Registered Children’s Home Manager
  • Strong experience supporting children with learning disabilities, autism and SEN
  • Excellent knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Home Regulations
  • Experience opening or registering a new home would be highly beneficial
