As a BrightStart within Consulting’s Quality and Risk Management team you will be responsible for helping the thriving Consulting practice to scale and operate safely. This apprenticeship will enable you to work across a range of teams and disciplines, develop a breadth of skills, and bring a digital and AI first mindset to each assigned rotation.

This rotational programme will also give you exposure to different roles and teams, and help you make an informed decision about your future career. The scheme includes working with various teams, which may include but is not limited to:

  • Business Transformation initiatives
  • Data analytics
  • Generative AI and agents
  • Major Deal Support
  • Quality Assurance
  • Contract Management
  • Business Operations
  • Learning and communications
  • Compliance and ethics
  • Client Consulting (optional)
  • Firm-wide Quality, Risk & Security (optional)

What skills and academic qualifications do I need?

Apprentice BrightStart: You’ll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum of 104 UCAS points (if gained after 2017 – or 260 if before) from your top 3 A-Levels

What kind of work will I do?

Our practice helps Consulting deliver high-quality work safely, and supports the business through transformation. This rotational apprenticeship offers broad experience across Quality, Risk and Security, alongside your formal qualification. You will build practical skills in project and financial management, data analytics, communications and stakeholder engagement, while discovering where your interests and strengths lie.

Rotations may include:

  • Business transformation – Deliver technology, business change and AI-enabled projects.
  • Data analytics – Use data and tools to identify and predict business risks.
  • Generative AI and agents – Help develop safe AI processes, controls and training.
  • Major deal support – Support bids and potential client deals with senior stakeholders and specialists.
  • Contract management – Support contracting and the management of client obligations.
  • Quality assurance – Help engagement leaders deliver work to the right standards.
  • Business operations – Support governance, reporting and the identification of bid and delivery risks.
  • Learning and communications – Create engaging risk education and communications.
  • Compliance and ethics – Support regulatory, ethical and firm standards.
  • Client Consulting (optional) – Gain experience on a suitable client engagement.
  • Firm-wide Quality, Risk & Security (optional) – Work on quality and risk matters across Deloitte.

Where will I work?

At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. If you’re in a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in-person events. Please note your final assessment and induction will also be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.

You will complete a fully funded qualification alongside your apprenticeship:

Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship and then on completion Level 6 Project Manager Degree Apprenticeship.

You will be provided 1 study day a week to focus on working towards your professional qualifications alongside paid study leave prior to exams.
