What skills and academic qualifications do I need?
You’ll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in any degree discipline and have graduated by September 2027 for the Autumn 2027 intake.

What kind of work will I do?
As an ER&I Strategy Analyst, you’ll work as part of a project team, helping clients make strategic choices that strengthen their competitive advantage, improve business efficiency, and shape innovative products and services.
Your role will involve gathering and analysing data, developing clear insights, and contributing to high-quality deliverables that support the project’s objectives. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, take part in client discussions, and help design transformation programmes, new business models and innovative products and services.
As technology plays an ever-greater role in our work, you’ll need the curiosity to explore its potential and the judgement to identify where it can create genuine value.
Where will I work?
At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. If you’re in a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in-person. Please note your final assessments and induction will be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.

When you join the ER&I team, we will make sure you have everything you need to set you up for success. This will include:
- An introduction to ER&I Strategy, where you’ll learn key strategic approaches, frameworks and methods before applying them in small -group case studies
- An Infrastructure & Capital Projects (I&CP) induction, giving you the opportunity to learn about the wider industries in which our clients operate
- Mentoring as you begin client work after your induction , with close support from a Consultant or Senior Consultant
- Ongoing coaching from your line manager and People Leader
- Continuous on-the-job learning and development throughout your project and engagement work
