Role Overview
This is an opportunity to join a large Tier 1 financial services organisation as an experienced Senior Project Manager / Programme Manager to support a large-scale legal entity simplification and business migration programme within its Capital Markets division. This is a high-profile transformation initiative requiring individuals with deep Capital Markets knowledge and a proven track record of delivering complex front-to-back change programmes across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex workstreams across a large-scale transformation programme.
- Drive front-to-back programme execution across Front Office, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Technology functions.
- Manage programme plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and governance activities.
- Coordinate multiple stakeholder groups to ensure successful delivery against programme objectives.
- Support business migration activities and operational readiness planning.
- Ensure robust execution of programme governance, reporting and delivery controls.
- Drive decision-making and issue resolution across senior stakeholder groups.
- Manage complex interdependencies across multiple workstreams and business areas.
Experience Required
- Extensive Project Management or Programme Management experience within Capital Markets environments, operating at Senior Vice President/Director level.
- Strong product knowledge across one or more of: Equities, Prime Brokerage / Prime Services, Securities Financing, Derivatives, Cash Equities, Post-Trade Operations, Clearing.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes within investment banking or capital markets organisations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Demonstrable experience managing complex cross-functional programmes involving Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance and Legal teams.
- Strong planning, governance, delivery and dependency management capabilities.
Preferred Experience
- Legal entity transformation, migration or business separation programmes.
- Regulatory change or operating model transformation initiatives.
- Experience working within Tier 1 investment banking environments.
