Contract Location: London onsite full time Monday to Friday 08:30 - 18:30hrs

This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte for a major operational transformation project with a leading global investment management firm. The engagement supports a large-scale fund transfer and migration programme within the European Shareholder Services and Asset Management Operations function. The project involves transitioning multiple mutual funds and investor accounts from one transfer agent to another, requiring experienced professionals who can operate in a fast-paced, high-risk operational environment.

  • Migration from an outgoing to an incoming transfer agent
  • Large-scale data, onboarding, and operational transition

This is a complex, high-impact programme touching multiple teams across operations, client service, and governance. Successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring a smooth transition, minimising risk, and maintaining a strong investor experience throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end transfer agency migration and fund transition programme
  • Manage investor onboarding, including KYC and AML reviews
  • Liaise with internal operations, client service, and external transfer agents
  • Process and validate shareholder and investor data
  • Support account set-up, re-registration, and documentation
  • Assist with parallel runs, data migration, and reconciliation activities
  • Respond to investor and distributor queries throughout the transition
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and escalate operational risks and data issues
  • Support stakeholder communications and reporting
  • Contribute to project tracking, milestones, and delivery timelines

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in Transfer Agency, Shareholder Services, Investor Services
  • Experience in Asset Management Operations
  • Must be operating at an Associate level with 2-5 years' experience
  • Strong knowledge of mutual funds and fund administration
  • Hands-on experience with onboarding, KYC, and AML processes
  • Client service and stakeholder management experience
  • Experience working on fund transitions, migrations, or operational change projects
  • Experience overseeing or working closely with external transfer agents
  • Experience supporting fund mergers or fund restructuring projects
  • Exposure to large-scale data migrations or platform transitions
  • Understanding of operational controls and governance frameworks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and risk awareness
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
