This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte for an engagement with a leading global investment banking and asset management client, within their Global Banking & Markets division. This team facilitates the on-boarding of Prime Brokerage, Futures Clearing and DCS clients. As an integral part of the Prime Services Client team, they work closely with their clients on new business, to understand their needs (e.g. markets, products, financing, reporting, coverage), and deliver a tailored solution by project managing each specific on-board from the initial mandate to the 'go live'. For both start-ups and existing clients, they seamlessly deliver its global resources by introducing clients to their coverage across the firm, enabling market access, product and report setup, and providing connectivity. They also facilitate the documentation process which involves serving as the point of contact in legal negotiations, operational setup, and regulatory coordination.
We are particularly interested in candidates with Prime Brokerage exposure and client relationship management experience within investment banking or financial markets. Opportunities are available at both junior and mid-level, making this an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to further develop their career within a fast-paced front-office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Help support other members of the new business group with client queries to drive forward onboarding.
- Work closely with Sales to help prioritize on-boarding requests ensuring this is communicated to all internal teams (Legal, Credit, Risk & Operations).
- Liaise with internal downstream teams and stakeholders in relation to on-going client on-boardings.
- Assist in monitoring the progress of internal initiatives and projects.
- Help develop and deliver data information which we deliver across the business on a weekly basis.
- Develop relationships with downstream teams and front office sales.
Experience
- Experience within Prime Brokerage Operations, Prime Brokerage New Business or Prime Brokerage Onboarding.
- Previous client relationship management or client-facing experience.
- Experience supporting client onboarding, account opening, implementation or operational change initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across front office and operational functions.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
