We are looking for an MHHS Qualification Analyst to support the qualification of market participants under the MHHS framework. This role is central to ensuring that parties meet the required standards to operate within the new market arrangements, with a strong focus on reviewing Qualification Assessment Documents (QADs), assessing evidence, and supporting parties through the qualification process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed reviews of Qualification Assessment Documents (QADs) submitted by market participants
- Assess evidence against MHHS qualification requirements and frameworks
- Identify gaps, risks, and areas of non‑compliance, and provide clear feedback
- Support the end‑to‑end qualification process, from submission through to approval
- Engage directly with participants to clarify responses, request additional evidence, and guide them through the process
- Track progress of qualification activities and maintain accurate records
- Support preparation of assessment outcomes, reports, and governance materials
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent and robust assessment approaches
Candidate Profile
- 1‑2 years’ experience in: regulatory compliance, risk, assurance, or audit
- Energy/utilities or another regulated industry
- Experience reviewing structured documentation, controls, or evidence submissions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret requirements against evidence
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- Clear and professional written communication skills
Highly Desirable
- Experience with MHHS, REC, or market qualification processes
- Understanding of UK energy market structure or settlement processes
- Experience in document‑heavy review roles (audit, assurance, onboarding, certification, etc.)
