We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java/Python Engineer to join our dynamic team on a contract basis.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within a collaborative and innovative environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and/or Python development, with a solid understanding of modern cloud and Dev Ops technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust applications using Java and/or Python.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications on AWS EKS.
- Work with Postgre SQL databases to design and optimize data storage solutions.
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Spinnaker or equivalent tooling to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Ensure code quality, security, and performance through best practices and code reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
- Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient in Java and/or Python programming languages.
- Strong experience with React for front‑end development.
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS EKS.
- Solid knowledge of Postgre SQL database design and querying.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Spinnaker or equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.
