Our client is seeking an experienced Fund Controller to join their team in London. This role is critical to supporting the Fund Controller BAU activities and requires a strong background in financial controls and fund accounting. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of fund structures, consolidation methodologies, and experience working with ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee financial accounting for funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and review fund reporting packs
- Work with data systems such as Yardi for input and configuration
- Support ERP system implementation and integration activities
- Ensure data quality and integrity across financial systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with regulators
- Advise the business on financial controls and fund management best practices
- Qualified accountant with 6+ years of relevant experience
- Previous roles in Financial Controls, Fund Controller, or similar positions
- Strong understanding of financial accounting for funds and consolidation methodologies
- Experience with data management and financial systems, including Yardi
- Exposure to ERP system implementations
- Investment banking experience is highly desirable
- Proven ability to communicate with regulators and advise business stakeholders
