Role Summary
DMS Digital Data Consultant provides a range of technical and business capabilities to DMS Digital and other engagements. These capabilities include solution development, data analysis, business analysis, systems analysis, quality assurance and documentation depending on the requirements of the individual project or engagement.

- Good understanding of data concepts such as data modelling, data management, data quality, master data management, reference data, reporting and visualisation, AI
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and propose practical, data-driven solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to tell a compelling story by structuring thoughts in a way that is engaging and easy to follow, including using data visualisations to evidence and articulate arguments
- Ability to work independently, think strategically and solve problems, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations

Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Solution Development: Responsible for the prototyping or development of technical solutions using low-code/no-code, robotic process automation or traditional programming languages.
- Systems Analysis: Reviewing existing systems (“as-is”) and supporting the design of future technical solutions (“to-be”) including the creation of system diagrams, data models, interface specifications, and logic flows.
- Solution Deployment, Testing & Support: Contribute to the configuration, deployment and ongoing support of technology solutions in collaboration with team members and client stakeholders.
- Requirements & Analysis: Gathering and documenting business requirements through meetings, workshops, and documentation review.
- Technical Requirements Definition: Based on business requirements create high or mid-level technical specifications to enable the development of technology solutions to meet business needs.
- Data & Reporting: Collect, analyse, and interpret business, performance and other data as an input to process design or other workstreams.
- Data Governance & Quality: Support or lead on the development of data governance, security, or confidentiality process or standards.
- Quality Issue Feedback: Providing to third party providers or internal stakeholders detail of content, input or output quality metrics derived from analysis and testing.
- Principles and Standards: Contributing to the ongoing development and review of principles and standards applicable to technical activities in DMS Digital.
- Best Practice: Contributing to the ongoing development and review of best practice guidance and instruction across all business, technical and support activities undertaken within DMS Digital or other engagements.
- Internal Relationships: Accountable and Responsible for developing and improving relationships with technical support and related functions across Deloitte in support of shared standards and DMS Digital or other engagement activities.
- Risk Management: Supporting the development, maintenance, improvement and management of risk controls pertaining to the activities of DMS Digital or other engagements.
