Deloitte Operations are seeking an AVP Business Analyst to support their Tier 1 Banking client with their legal entity change programme in delivering necessary transition in trading execution platforms and associated controls processes reporting and operational change.
Key Accountabilities
- Support Treasury Markets Business Management TFI Risk and Analytics and Treasury Technology on legal entity changes.
- Provide guidance and support for Treasury Markets on legal entity change management requirements.
- Deliver Treasury Markets legal entity transition deliverables across the TFI and PFS workstreams in partnership with the central programme management team.
- Proactively work with front office business stakeholders and functions (middle office / product control / financial control and capital risk / market risk / compliance / settlements / confirmations) to develop a detailed plan of change activities.
- Ability to define business requirements for technology or infrastructure solutions and analyse front office business processes.

The role requires a degree of stakeholder management working across business stakeholders at all levels of seniority, interaction with firm wide programmes and working across functions including Technology, Finance, Risk and Operations.

Essential Skills / Basic Qualifications
- Experience of Change / Transition Management and Business Analysis experience.
- Exposure to Treasury processes (e.g. risk management, Transfer pricing, funding) and products (e.g. bonds, interest rate derivatives).
- Knowledge of trading / risk management systems, operational flows and key control points.
- Strong Communication skills across a variety of forums and mediums. Proven ability to distil information into key messages.
- Highly analytical experience analysing large volumes of data (Excel based) and the ability to problem solve.
- Experience in operating in a matrix organisation a plus with proven ability to balance commercial, client and regulatory needs across businesses and entities.
- Ability to apply skillset flexibly to situations and circumstances specific to the change project required, sometimes requiring detailed execution work, sometimes performing planning and analysis etc.
- Ability to maintain energy and resilience within an organisation throughout a period of change and/or against significant challenges.
Desirable skills / Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree.
- Familiarity with the Treasury Product set.
- Project Management or Project Delivery experience.
- Advanced Excel / VBA skills.
