Overview
Deloitte is supporting a Tier 1 global financial servicesorganisation in recruiting a Global Markets Client Onboarding Analyst to join ahigh-performing Client Experience Operations team.
This role sits within the Global Markets New Businessfunction and acts as the central point of contact for pre-trade/ Onboarding setup. GMNM communicates and coordinates with clients across documentation,account opening and configuration, ensuring optimal client experience & readinessto trade. The team members are aligned with specific Clients / Sales desks andwork closely with sales coverage, legal, credit risk, operations, complianceand clients to ensure an effective and smooth onboarding process.
The team members develop strong relationships withinstitutional clients, which include asset managers, corporations, hedge fundsand private equity. They are expected to play a key role in client relationshipmanagement and understanding dynamic changes in commercial demands of thebusiness as well as grow subject matter expertise in legal, AML/KYC andregulatory requirements.
This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial team sitting across EMEA(London, Paris & Frankfurt), US (New York, Salt Lake City) and APAC (HongKong, Singapore, Sydney) with individuals who thrive in the fast-paced,changing environment of the trading floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Owningpre-trade client relationship & driving front-to-back onboarding toensure readiness to trade across all products (Derivatives, Repo, Cash)
- Useactive discussions with Sales to manage the priority queue
- Driveinternal and external conversations to facilitate the negotiation oftrading agreements: ISDA-CSA, CDEA, GMRA & GMSLA
- Developin depth knowledge of all account opening requirements needed such as AML,KYC & product to legal entity alignment
- Managetight deadlines to ensure we meet clients’ service level expectations:fund launches, market specific deadlines and trade dates
- Provideexcellent pre-trade client service
- Demonstratea sound appreciation of new business policies, and process enhancements
- Someprevious experience with within investment banking
- LegalDegree
- Strongclient relationship management skills.
- Excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strongorganisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Highattention to detail.
- Abilityto work within fast-paced front-office environments.
Would be an advantage if you have experience/knowledgeOf:
- ISDA-CSA,GMRA And Other Trading Agreements
- Ideallyfrom a legal background
- Clientfacing experience would be a bonus
- Experiencein related onboarding functions (e.g. Due Diligence, Agreementnegotiation)
- Understandingof onboarding, KYC/AML or regulatory requirements
