The onboarding coordinators are responsible for liaising with the sales teams to set priorities for various onboarding workflows, ensuring that clients are onboarded in a smooth and risk-cognizant manner.
The main responsibilities of the onboarding coordinators are:
- To act as the main point of contact for new clients assisting them throughout the onboarding process.
- Managing the prioritisation of new client onboardings with the IBD Client Onboarding team, ensuring that KYC is completed and trading accounts are opened in time for trade execution.
- Managing the prioritisation of ISDA negotiations and working alongside the negotiators to assist in obtaining internal approval and to escape where files have become stalled or commercially sensitive.
- Managing files that are outsourced to external counsel firms and assisting them with internal GS approval processes.
- To develop clear reporting methods to the business on onboarding progress and provide an open forum whereby the team can elevate issues within onboarding for awareness or recommended policy/approval changes.
