Job Description

  • Role: VP Collateral, Margin & Valuations Services (CMVS) / Middle Office Settlements
  • Ownand oversee delivery of CMVS (Collateral, Margin & Valuations Services) processesacross margin calculation, reconciliation, and collateral settlement, ensuringoutputs are complete, accurate, and controlled
  • Provideoversight of controls within core margin platform, ensuring issues areidentified, assessed, and appropriately actioned.
  • Reviewand challenge exceptions, breaks, and disputes, ensuring appropriate resolutionstrategies and escalation where required.
  • Actas primary escalation point for complex issues, coordinating across eg. Business, Risk, and Technology to drive resolution
  • Maintainaccountability for control execution within the function, including ensuringcontrols are appropriately designed, embedded, and evidenced.
  • Leadand deliver process improvement and control enhancement initiatives, includingautomation, standardisation, and reduction in manual intervention.
  • Drivedelivery of strategic change programmes, translating business requirements intoimplementable solutions.
  • Provideoversight of MI and reporting, ensuring themes, risks, and trends are clearlyarticulated and e escalated to seniorstakeholders.
  • Engagewith Audit, Operational Risk, and Control functions, providing cleararticulation of process design, control operation, and remediation activity.
  • Supportresource planning, prioritisation, and oversight of junior team members toensure consistent delivery against BAU and change objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strongexperience in collateral management / margin operations, with demonstratedunderstanding of end-to-end margin lifecycle and associated risks.
  • Provenability to oversee and challenge operational processes, controls, and outputsin a complex environment.
  • Experiencein managing or leading process improvement and change initiatives, includingcontrol uplift and automation.

Strongunderstanding of control frameworks and governance expectations, includingaudit and risk interaction.

  • Marginexperienceideallyorgeneralmiddleofficeexperiencewithsettlements
  • Abilityto assess and articulate operational risk, control effectiveness (in terms ofexecution), and required remediation actions.
  • Advancedanalytical capability, with ability to interpret complex data and identify rootcauses and themes.
  • Strongstakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior business, risk, and technology partners.
  • Demonstratedability to prioritise across BAU delivery and change activity while maintainingcontrol discipline
  • Change/ BA and / or project management experience within a Mkts Ops setting wouldalso be considered
