Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contract Data Migration Consultant to join our team for a 6-month engagement. This role is critical for the successful transition of HR data to our new SuccessFactors system. You will be responsible for delivering HR data migration activities, supporting payroll parallel testing, and managing delta loads. This position requires a strong understanding of data migration processes, ETL tools, and SQL, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced implementation environment. Resources can be offshore, and this role is key to backfilling an open position and covering paternity leave.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end HR data migration activities for the SuccessFactors implementation.
  • Design, develop, and execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Support payroll parallel testing by preparing and loading necessary data sets.
  • Manage and execute delta loads to ensure data synchronisation and accuracy.
  • Perform data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand data requirements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Document data migration processes, mappings, and validation rules.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in data migration, specifically within SuccessFactors or SAP HCM implementations.
  • Strong proficiency with ETL tools (SAP BODS preferred; DataStage/Informatica acceptable).
  • Expertise in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and validation.
  • Understanding of HR data objects and structures.
  • Experience in supporting payroll testing cycles.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail for data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including with offshore colleagues.

Skills and Experience (Desirable)

  • Experience with other data quality and governance tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based HR systems.
