Deloitte's Operate to Scale team helps ambitious, high-growth companies accelerate commercial performance by providing embedded sales, operational and growth expertise. Our professionals work directly within client environments, becoming part of their day-to-day teams whilst benefitting from Deloitte's wider network, support and development opportunities.
This role offers the unique opportunity to combine the pace and impact of a high-growth technology business with the backing and broader exposure of Deloitte. A client we are working with in Deloitte Operate to Scale is growing its marketing function and looking for someone to support content production and demand-generation across paid and organic channels.
This is a hands-on role in a small, early-stage marketing function with existing momentum to build on: LinkedIn following and newsletter subscribers are up 30% in the last 6 months and recent content is attracting high ICP fit leads organically. The subject matter of anti-money laundering and financial crime is genuinely interesting too. International regulatory change is constant as are typologies (the ways criminals keep finding to move money) so there is always something to write about.
You’ll report to the Head of Marketing day to day and work closely with the Marketing Manager, the founder, and the sales team. The Marketing Manager owns HubSpot and technical build. The sales team owns outbound delivery. You’ll support both marketing-led growth and sales enablement across that structure. The founder and Head of Marketing are also hands-on with content writing, editing and contributing across most of the areas below. You won't be creating everything alone and the role is scaled to match several channels but manageable volume in each.
Key responsibilities
- Landing pages and campaign content: Write copy and create lead magnets, including long form content such as ebooks and guides, supporting paid search, LinkedIn ad campaigns, and organic demand-generation activity.
- Organic LinkedIn: Build on an already-growing channel. Plan and produce content for the company page and newsletter, attend bi-weekly content meetings and ghostwrite for the founder and CEO.
- SEO and GEO blog content: Write blog and insight content optimised for search and AI-search visibility. Drafting is AI-assisted with the founder and Head of Marketing reviewing and signing off before publication.
- Email newsletter: Support content for the bi-weekly email newsletter.
- Publication partnerships: Identify and manage partnership opportunities with the Head of Marketing. Some budget is available to test partnerships, alongside gratis or contra arrangements. This work builds awareness and reach rather than immediate leads.
- SDR outreach testing: Design an A/B testing process and write content for SDR outreach messaging. Lead on promotion for monthly webinars working with the rest of the team on strategy and messaging.
- Sales enablement: Develop industry and sector specific case studies, one-pagers, and nurture email sequences, giving the sales team stronger material to work with.
What success looks like
- Landing pages and lead magnets are ready ahead of campaign launches.
- LinkedIn engagement and reach grow month on month, across both the company page and personal posts.
- Blog and LinkedIn newsletter content is published consistently on a weekly cadence, with views and subscribers increasing over time.
- Email engagement (opens and clicks) trends upwards over time.
- Partnership activity produces visible reach and mentions.
- SDR outreach testing produces clear, actionable findings the sales team can act on.
- Webinar registrations grow relative to baseline.
- Sales enablement content is used by the team and referenced in deals.
Specific targets will be set with you once you're in the role and we have baseline data to work from.
What we’re looking forEssential
- Previous experience in a B2B content marketing role.
- Experience writing copy that drives measurable results across landing pages, email, and social, including long-form content such as ebooks and guides.
- A track record of growing organic LinkedIn presence with metrics you can point to.
- Comfortable working closely with a small team and multiple stakeholders (marketing, sales, founder) rather than operating independently.
Nice to have
- Experience promoting webinars or events, with a clear before-and-after impact on registrations.
- Experience prioritising content across multiple channels with limited resources.
- This role covers more ground than most content roles, so you'll need to judge where your time has the most impact and not just produce volume.
- SEO fundamentals; GEO/AI-search awareness is a plus.
- Comfortable using AI tools for copywriting (we use Claude) and Canva for design assets.
- AI-assisted content is produced against a style and writing guide, which you'll help develop and maintain.
- Experience writing for regulated industries (compliance, AML, financial services, or similar). You’ll get up to speed on the sector through the founder and Head of Marketing either way.
