Responsibilities will include:

• Be the technical expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, its platform, technologies and capabilities for Microsoft Dynamics 365 enabled transformation programmes.
• Bring a deep understanding of the wider Microsoft technology stack, including Azure, CE, dual write and Power Platform alongside emerging technologies such as AI and how these can be employed alongside D365 F&O.
• Bring extensive experience in defining and delivering technical architecture, environment management, integrations and data strategies.
• Ensure best practice in every aspect of a technical solution, promoting the use of appropriate design patterns for application extensions, data and integrations.
• Leading and guiding offshore teams through the Global Delivery Network.
• Provide quality assurance for code, and technical due diligence for functional designs.
• Support the functional team in defining the technical case for MS D365 F&O enabled finance transformation.
• Share your domain experience to support development of internal capability in Deloitte UK MS D365 F&O team through knowledge sharing sessions and demonstrating how you engage clients and solve our clients’ biggest problems.
• Become a trusted advisor to client teams, helping them solve business problems through technology enabled change.
• Lead the technical design and architecture of D365 F&O solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Appetite for innovation, ability to lead R&D projects for go to market accelerators.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to technical standards.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business processes and technical requirements, translating them into effective D365 F&O solutions.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize D365 F&O solutions for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Stay abreast of the latest D365 F&O updates, features, and best practices.

As a D365 F&O Technical Architect (Senior Manager) in our Emerging Technology team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions using D365 F&O platform that will allow our clients to transform the way they run and manage their business.

Your professional experience:

• You will have a deep understanding of the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations product and wider D365 platform from a technical perspective and a broad understanding of the functional solution, including key finance and supply chain processes as they are modelled in F&O, and as they operate in a business as a whole.
• Experience in Azure DevOps source control and Application Lifecycle Management for all Microsoft products Build and Release Pipelines.
• Proficiency in X++, .Net to a level that supports code review and assurance.
• Extensive experience in the design and implementation of integrations, data schemas and complex application extensions.
• Understanding of licensing models.
• Experience in environment management.
• Working knowledge of Fabric, Synapse, Power Platform, Azure Services and data lake technologies.
• Relevant experience with multiple full life-cycle implementations of MS D365 F&O.
• Demonstrates knowledge and experience in ERP implementation methodology and principles.
• Effective time-management, attention to detail and driven to exceed client expectations.
• Ability and keen interest to develop talent and build a high-performing team.
• Effective listening skills to understand and break down client finance business problems.
• Influencing stakeholders on the merits of the proposed technical solution.
• Able to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences.

• Microsoft Copilot for Dynamics 365.
• Certifications: MB-500, MB-700 (or equivalent).
