Join our high performing Valuations team, a market leader in providing valuation advice and opinions to clients including private equity, investment funds (including debt funds), asset managers, tech start-ups and global blue‐chip corporates.

We will provide you with the opportunity to expand your career and further develop your experience as a commercial and technical adviser on critical value related matters, in particular relating to the rapidly increasing alternative credit market.

Our valuations teamOur Valuations team, advises on high profile assignments that have significant impact on, or are of high importance to our clients.

Every year, we advise over 100 clients in all industries in both the private and public sectors including multinationals, governments, corporates, financial institutions, private equity, family owned businesses and entrepreneurs.

Clients seek our world‐class valuation advice and independent valuations, typically in situations where there is, or could be, a material value impact, including:

M&A transactions and capital raising;

Strategic decisions, including joint ventures and strategic partnership agreements;

Disputes, arbitration and mediation;

Intra‐group restructuring and tax valuations;

Financial reporting; and

As part of our Private Credit valuations, we support Deloitte\’s global Portfolio Valuation Services offering. Through this work, we undertake debt valuations for some of the largest global asset managers and financial institutions, advising clients on either standalone transactions or on a periodic basis. As part of our debt valuation work, the team values loan portfolios (corporate, residential mortgage, credit card), Real Estate and Debt Origination Platforms, stressed and distressed assets, intercompany trades and more.

Globally, Deloitte assesses valuations for 26% of the top 50 global asset managers and serves nearly 50% of the top 50 real estate companies by revenue.

You will be expected to:

Develop and apply technical and commercial insights in a valuation context;

Manage and execute valuation engagements;

Effectively manage, develop and coach more junior team members;

Develop, review and interpret analysis and present clearly articulated, considered and insightful conclusions;

Develop effective relationships with clients and internal Deloitte stakeholders;

Actively pursue new revenue and business development opportunities; and

Manage diverse teams within an inclusive team culture

Connect to your skills and professional experienceYour professional skills, experience and attributes should include:

Valuation experience gained either in an accounting / valuation firm, bank, private equity or similar institution, or equivalent;

Significant experience of performing complex analyses of debt instruments, convertibles, preference shares and (performing and non‐performing) loan portfolios as well as interpreting and presenting conclusions in a concise and clear manner;

An interest and willingness towards leading business development activity and a drive towards client service excellence; and

Exceptional financial analytical skills with proficiently in Excel.
