Cyber Risk & Security is a major concern for every corporation, and the Government is investing £1.9 billion in tackling it. We are shaping strategies and transforming technology to minimise risks, and we need you to join us. You will build strong relationships within a Cyber practice with around 300 talented individuals from diverse backgrounds.

In a rapidly changing world where information holds significant value, supply chains are increasingly interconnected. The resilience of operations has become a board-level issue. You will provide our clients with a full spectrum of services encompassing business and technology resilience. When clients have an incident, our Cyber Incident Response (CIR) team acts quickly to identify root causes and eliminate threats.

As a Technical Incident Responder focused on CIR within Technology and Transformation, you will typically have responsibility for:

  • Solving clients' issues with a creative mindset.
  • Leading teams, inspiring colleagues, and acting as a trusted business adviser.
  • Delivering cyber-related engagements with clients, working collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Contributing to the development of our teams through training and coaching.
  • Creating new Cyber-related services and developing existing ones.
  • Increasing the eminence of the Deloitte Cyber practice and engaging with high-profile clients.
  • Learning and developing through training, mentoring, and coaching options.
  • Working effectively in diverse teams with an inclusive culture.

Desirable skills, qualifications, and experience include:

  • Proven experience in Incident Response, supervising technical and non-technical team members.
  • Experience in network forensics and detecting malicious activity.
  • Experience with security intelligence, data analytics, and forensic investigation teams.
  • Investigative experience within cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Knowledge of current hacking techniques and security analysis techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in developing relationships.
  • Experience in delivering proactive Incident Response Advisory work.
  • Willingness to operate as part of an 'on-call roster'.
  • Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GCFE, GCFA).
  • Holds Government Security clearance or willingness to undergo the vetting process.
