You will provide clients with a full spectrum of services encompassing business and technology resilience. When incidents occur, our Cyber Incident Response (CIR) team acts quickly to identify root causes and eliminate threats. Our professionals apply their experience to find advanced threats hiding in networks and remove them to prevent business disruption.
As a Technical Incident Responder, you will focus on CIR within Technology & Transformation, typically responsible for:
- Solving client issues with a creative mindset.
- Leading teams and acting as a trusted business adviser.
- Delivering cyber-related engagements collaboratively with clients.
- Training and coaching team members.
- Contributing to the creation and development of Cyber-related services.
- Increasing the eminence of the Deloitte Cyber practice.
- Learning and developing through training, mentoring, and coaching.
- Working effectively in diverse teams with an inclusive culture.
We are looking for candidates with strong identity skills and the ambition to utilise Deloitte's leading training opportunities. All applicants must be willing and eligible to apply for UK security clearance to SC level if not already holding it.
Key qualifications include:
- Proven experience in Incident Response, supervising technical and non-technical team members.
- Experience in network forensics and detecting malicious activity.
- Experience working with security intelligence, data analytics, and forensic investigation teams.
- Knowledge of current hacking techniques and security analysis techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in developing relationships.
- Experience delivering proactive Incident Response Advisory work.
- Willingness to operate as part of an 'on-call roster' and travel as needed.
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GCFE).
- Investigative experience within cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience leading technical teams during cyber incidents.
