About the role
Deloitte is leading finance, operational and supply chain transformation. This role focuses on Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations to help clients transform their business processes, finance functions, and supply chain operations. As a Microsoft D365 Business Architect / Delivery Director, you will shape and grow the UK D365 F&O practice, build internal capability, and deliver value to senior executives across finance, operations, and technology.
Responsibilities
- Support our clients shape and deliver their transformation agenda
- Assess and understand requirements to recommend the optimal technology solutions to address client needs
- Define the Business Case for Microsoft D365 F&O enabled business transformation
- Provide leadership for the delivery of Microsoft D365 enabled business solutions
- Develop internal business transformation capability in Deloitte UK Microsoft D365 F&O team, through structured, formal development and leading the team, demonstrating role model behaviours, including engaging clients in solving business problems
- Combine industry insight with knowledge of supply chain or core finance and performance management applications plus cloud adoption and digital enablers
- Understand the business processes, tooling and capabilities required to orchestrate data driven decision making
- Demonstrate thought leadership and become a trusted advisor to the CIO, COO, CFO and other key decision makers
- Understand Microsoft application portfolio and complimentary products to address client needs
- Build effective relationships across the global Deloitte Microsoft network.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience with full life-cycle technology implementations
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ERP implementation methodology and principles
- Effective listening skills to understand and break down client business problems
- Ability to share good practice and influence stakeholders on the merits of the solution you propose
- Demonstrated knowledge of establishing and embedding effective solution governance
- One of the following: professional qualification in your domain areas e.g. CIMA, ACA, CIPS, BA/BS degree in Computer Science (or related software engineering field), or equivalent practical experience
- Ability and keen interest to develop talent and build a high-performing team.
- Demonstrated understanding of the current state of the art for automation, continuous integration/deployment and cloud-based delivery models
- Comfortable talking about technical issues with non-technical team members and to the client leadership team
- Able to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences
- Ability to craft a compelling message and tailor it for a given audience, combining technical expertise with simple, everyday language to deliver a story
- Demonstrated business domain and/or industry knowledge
- Ability to work well with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team and clients
- Effective cross-functional project management, communication and stakeholder management
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a focus on translating business requirements into information models
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and self-direction
- Experience in consulting or professional services.
