The ever-changing complexity of the regulatory and business environment surrounding trade and transaction reporting requires technical excellence and ingenuity to solve the issues currently facing the industry. To respond to the challenge that the industry presents, we are growing our trade and transaction reporting advisory team. Accordingly, we are looking for talented individuals to work with us to provide our clients with strategic and transformative advice.

As part of our rapidly growing team, you will provide high-quality strategic and technical advice covering trade and transaction reporting matters. The main responsibility of the role will be to help clients to anticipate and understand regulatory and policy change, and to be able to provide technical advice to allow clients to implement sustainable solutions to meet their reporting challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with a host of prestigious organisations available through our extensive network.

Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Providing high-quality consulting advice and helping clients to anticipate and understand regulatory and policy change.
  • Supporting the analysis of the trade and transaction reporting regulatory pipeline and understanding the potential impact of regulatory developments on our clients' businesses.
  • Supporting clients to design effective trade and transaction reporting risk and control frameworks.
  • Helping to shape and grow the business through proposition development, writing eminence pieces and participating in industry forums.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to Deloitte's inclusive culture.

To qualify for this role, you will have:

  • A proven track record in the understanding and interpretation of regulation and the implementation of solutions to address trade and transaction reporting requirements.
  • Proven experience in trade and transaction reporting with exposure to two or more of the following: MIFID Transaction Reporting, MIFID Post Trade Transparency, EMIR Article 9, SFTR, CFTC/SEC reporting and/or MAS reporting.
  • Experience in either consulting, in-house compliance, regulatory operations or business analysis covering reporting solutions.
  • Exposure to multiple asset classes including securities (equities/bonds) and derivatives both OTC and exchange traded.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with experience facing external clients or internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities with clients.
  • An orientation to deliver quality solutions for our clients and awareness of the risk management processes in place at global consulting firms.
  • A degree and/or relevant professional qualification and/or significant relevant consulting or industry expertise.
