The UK Emerging Workforce (EW) team assist clients with a breadth of advisory & compliance services. Their focus is on non-traditional mobility & new ways of working, including international remote work and business travel. Service offerings include: current state assessment and business case support, policy and programme design, technology implementation and operational governance, through which the team supports clients with the end-to-end management of their business travel and remote work populations. The team are growing rapidly, in an exciting and expanding area of Deloitte's GES practice.

Managers take the lead on delivering compliance and advisory services to our clients. As a Manager you will use your commercial awareness and professional expertise, along with leveraging the skills and expertise of others, to provide the best possible experience to our clients.

Key responsibilities for a Manager include:
- Project management - Lead project management, ensuring timely execution and successful outcomes.
- Technology implementation - There is strong focus on digital services to support programme delivery via our business travel risk /remote work assessment platform.
- Service delivery – Lead service delivery, including both technology and "downstream" services (e.g. EU Posted Worker Directive filings, A1 applications, etc.).
- Advisory projects including policy & process design.
- Manage diverse on-shore and off-shore teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
- Work together with the senior leadership to proactively identify innovative end-to-end business travel and/or remote work solutions for clients.
- Pursue new business development opportunities while progressing group’s strategic plan.
- Proactively engage in the multidisciplinary projects delivered together with other service lines including human capital consulting, technology & analytics, tax, payroll advisory and operations, immigration and many other specialists across Deloitte, both in the UK and EMEA.
- Own and deepen relationships of your clients and establish trust through day-to-day communication and quality service delivery.
- Share your expertise and knowledge with other members of your team by actively coaching and training junior members of the team.

A successful applicant will possess the following key skills and attributes:
- Relevant experience working in an equivalent professional firm environment (including delivery of immigration, social security, EU PWD and/or expatriate tax services).
- Experience in the end-to-end delivery of projects and demonstration of strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience of leading teams.
- Detail oriented and ability to efficiently manage multiple clients/projects simultaneously.
- Proactive approach to tasks and ability to prioritise accordingly.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
- Advanced operability of Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Fluency in verbal and written business English.
- Experience in technology implementation projects (preferred).
- Team player with highest standard of ethics.
- Good people coach, good listener.
- Problem-solver and innovative thinker.
- The ability to communicate clearly and build strong relationships, both within internal teams and clients.
- Inquisitive about exploring the impact of technology on both internal service delivery and client services.
