Front Office Treasury and Reporting is a multidisciplinary group of technical experts based in London. The role offers an exciting opportunity to provide regulatory scrutiny on liquidity within leading financial institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and drive clients’ risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
  • Lead a diverse team of professionals, engage with senior stakeholders at the highest levels, and spearhead initiatives that transform and enhance risk management practices.
  • Take full ownership of complex client engagements, ensuring high‑quality outcomes and overall project success.
  • Provide strategic direction, thought leadership, and technical expertise on Traded Risk challenges.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including C‑suite executives, acting as a trusted advisor on Traded Risk matters.
  • Drive business development activities, identify new opportunities, and contribute to the growth of the Traded Quantitative Risk team and the broader Financial Risk practice.
  • Oversee effective management of Model Risk, applying advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis across model development and validation while ensuring robust governance and compliance with regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Traded Risk (Market Risk and/or Counterparty Credit Risk) with a proven track record in senior leadership roles.
  • Deep knowledge of Traded Risk regulations such as FRTB and their strategic implications for financial institutions.
  • Exceptional quantitative skills with advanced proficiency in Traded Risk modelling (e.g., VaR) and substantial experience in model development, validation, and governance.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high‑performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence across functions (Front Office, Risk, Methodology, IT) within financial institutions.
  • Extensive experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including C‑suite executives and governance committees, building trusted advisory relationships.
  • Deep knowledge of Model Risk Management principles, regulatory requirements, and effective model governance practices.
