You will join the market leading Integration and Separation team. You will develop an impressive range of commercial consulting skills that will fast-track your career and multiply your options. Benefiting from early client exposure and learning from some of the top practitioners in the field, you will be involved throughout the lifecycle of some of the largest, most complex, and high‐profile deals in the UK and internationally.

Your role will be to provide integration and separation expertise to corporate organisations, private equity houses and financial institutions. You will deliver services ranging from the development of integration or separation strategies to day 1 planning and post‐deal implementation programme delivery. You will support transactions across all industry sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Lead small to mid‐scale integration/separation assignments and take lead roles on larger scale engagements.
  • Oversee Programme Management Office activities on small/mid‐sized engagements.
  • Lead workstream(s) to fulfil their programme objectives and deliverables.
  • Engage with colleagues and client senior management to develop integration and/or separation strategy.
  • Lead the development of key documents for a transaction e.g., Transitional Service Agreements, Status reports, Steerco reports and papers addressing certain strategic issues.
  • Report overall programme progress to senior executives including risk mitigation and issue resolution proposals.
  • Play a lead role in facilitating client workshops and stakeholder management activities.
  • Develop your own point of view and lead practice and business development activities e.g., thought leadership material and/or sales materials.
  • Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution and also have fun.

  • Programme management experience in top‐tier corporate institution(s) or consulting firm(s) and capacity to assist with the design, development and delivery of numerous programmes or project initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the M&A process / transaction lifecycle / deal process and various parties within it.
  • Experience of leading and coaching internal or external project teams.
  • Proficiency in delivering change management and transformation initiatives e.g., technology or business process changes.
  • Aptitude to critically challenge business plan and underlying assumptions in a logical, evidenced manner.
  • Ability to knowledgeably discuss strategy and implications of options with clients.
  • Natural ability and instinct to build and maintain trusted relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong facilitation and consensus building skills.
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present clearly in presentation or pitches including senior level stakeholders.
  • Full travel mobility.
  • Previous experience in shaping and/or delivering integration and/or separation programmes.
  • Strong focus and knowledge of a particular business sector business or functional area.
