The role we’re looking to fill is a career defining opportunity for someone passionate about software engineering who wants to work alongside and learn from a world-class team of engineers, business analysts and product managers.

As part of this role your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing software solutions as part of a development team working on a product build using an Agile methodology.
  • Managing your own workload and deliverables as part of a product team using DevOps tools.
  • Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge platforms such as Kubernetes and AI-driven development tools. You’ll deploy these technologies across our innovative product suite with full support from our comprehensive learning resources.
  • Delivering a high standard of quality through testing and code review, and liaising with our Quality Assurance teams when they are conducting their testing;
  • Participating in knowledge sharing, peer review and group meetings across our Engineering team and the wider group;
  • Working with the Product Managers and Business Analysts in our team to understand business requirements, dependencies and timelines;
  • Working with stakeholders and customers where necessary to develop a good understanding of the business context and complex requirements.
  • Working with developers in our offshore centres as part of the delivery of our products.

  • Bachelor\’s Degree or equivalent in Information Systems or Computer Science or related discipline / equivalent
  • Software development experience working with the following:
    • An object-oriented language (C# preferred);
    • SQL or NoSQL databases (SQL Server or MongoDB preferred);
    • Front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript frameworks – Angular preferred);
    • Cloud services (Azure preferred);
  • Experience developing multi-layered products as a full stack developer,
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Git or similar development repositories
  • Experience of software development life cycle, test driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Our comprehensive range of services encompasses everything from the completion of tax returns (corporation tax self-assessment) to complex consultancy assignments and strategic tax planning. We advise on corporate and general tax, international M&A, stamp tax, cross-border transfer pricing, reorganisations and reconstructions, and competent authority negotiations.
