The Investment Management value chain is currently undergoing significant change. Both Investment Managers and Asset Servicers are undergoing transformation journeys which as a result is changing where activities sit on the value chain and thus altering the operating models of both players. Our ambition is to become the leading Consulting practice in Investment Management, helping firms to deliver large scale transformation change initiatives that enable digital technology adoption and operational efficiencies. We help clients manage major structural changes within their operations to unlock value and growth ambitions for their organisations.

We are looking for talented individuals with expertise in Investment Management with a passion to learn, develop and grow within our team. As a Consultant, you will work as part of a team of industry specialists in our practice and have the opportunity to:

  • Build upon your existing industry knowledge to become an expert in your field.
  • Focus on the delivery of client work that will successfully fulfil and exceed client expectations and deliver engagement and programme objectives.
  • Take a leading role on projects and workstreams and supporting our more junior team members.
  • Actively participate in, and contribute to, the development of the Investment Management practice team, including supporting our investment manager proposition development and thought leadership.
  • Develop trusted relationships with our clients.

We’re looking for people with proven industry experience working in the Investment Management sector, either in Consulting firms or internal change / transformation functions within an Investment Manager. Experience driving elements of large-scale transformational change programmes within Investment Managers. Background in one or more of the following:

  • Front Office systems and operations
  • Client experience/Distribution operations
  • Middle and Back-office operations and services from either investment manager or asset servicing

Experience of managing and motivating small teams, establishing the specific day-to-day plans, projects and objectives needed. Experience of guiding and coaching junior talent through challenging situations and providing honest and constructive development points. Experience in managing client relationships and key stakeholders to resolve issues and articulate complex ideas. Have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when working in, and managing, diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them and a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture. Excellent ability in Microsoft Office, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel. Understand risk, how to mitigate risk and protect the firm’s reputation.

Preferably you will also have:

  • Experience supporting (consulting) bids, e.g. responding to RFI/RFP, and developing industry relationships.
  • Knowledge of specific Investment Management technologies.
