Value Creation Services (VCS) is a hands-on, delivery focused performance improvement team. We support Private Equity backed businesses and corporates who want to take an accelerated lens to performance improvement in delivering improvements to their cash & EBITDA position. Our team is pragmatic in its approach and helps businesses overcome challenges by supporting management (and owners, where appropriate) to drive sustainable operational change.

This is an opportunity to leverage your performance improvement and turnaround experience in a stimulating new environment. Our VCS practice is experiencing rapid growth and we now have multiple opportunities across the team to recruit high calibre delivery individuals.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with our Private Equity and corporate clients in delivering supply chain performance improvement initiatives and turnarounds.
Successful candidates will benefit from a demonstrable strong track record in delivering supply chain performance improvement initiatives, experience in navigating senior stakeholders and strong analytical skills, including Excel/PowerPoint capability.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and deploying machine learning models to solve specific operational challenges, such as demand forecasting, sourcing optimisation, and inventory management.
- Using ML techniques to analyse large datasets, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights for supply chain and sourcing improvements.
- Applying advanced ML algorithms to improve demand planning accuracy, optimise supplier selection, and enhance procurement strategies.
- Building predictive models to forecast demand fluctuations, enabling clients to make proactive and informed decisions.
- Working closely with clients to understand their operational challenges and design ML-driven solutions tailored to their needs.
- Supporting the execution of ML-focused analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into clients' operational workflows.
- Utilising advanced Excel functions and data visualisation tools to complement ML insights and communicate results effectively.
- Applying critical thinking and structured problem-solving methodologies to address complex operational issues using ML.
- Continuously exploring emerging ML technologies and methodologies to enhance the practice's analytics capabilities.
- Supporting the Associate Director in mentoring junior team members and fostering a collaborative working environment.
Key requirements:
- Must be flexible to international travel.
- Should have proven experience of operating in a similar capacity.
- Demonstrate proficiency in ML tools and techniques, such as Python, R, TensorFlow, or similar platforms, to develop and validate models.
- Deep understanding of supply chain operations, including demand forecasting, procurement, and S&OP.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey ML insights to diverse audiences.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with PE funds and corporate clients.
