The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) Implementation Consultant with experience delivering several end-to-end implementations. This is a critical role, focusing on leading the successful implementation of Oracle Recruiting Cloud for a large-scale government transformation project. The ideal candidate would have SC clearance or be willing to undergo clearance. This is an initial 6-month contract with the opportunity for extension, offering a chance to make a significant impact on a high-profile programme.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Oracle Recruiting Cloud Implementation Lead, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle implementation of ORC within public sector client environments. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage all phases of Oracle Recruiting Cloud implementation projects, from discovery and design through to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Requirements Gathering & Design: Conduct detailed workshops with public sector stakeholders to gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and design optimal ORC solutions that align with client needs, public sector policies, and best practices.
- Solution Configuration: Configure Oracle Recruiting Cloud modules, including Job Requisitions, Candidate Experience, Offer Management, and integrations, ensuring adherence to public sector specific compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Integration Management: Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement integrations between ORC and other Oracle HCM Cloud modules (e.g., Core HR), payroll systems, and external third-party applications.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans (SIT, UAT), manage testing cycles, and ensure the quality and integrity of the implemented solution.
- Data Migration: Define data migration strategies for recruiting data, overseeing data extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience leading multiple full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC).
- Extensive functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Recruiting Cloud modules and functionalities.
- Demonstrable experience working on large-scale technology transformation projects.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment within an Oracle Cloud environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to travel to client sites across the UK as required, in addition to the regular Birmingham office presence.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Oracle Cloud certifications, particularly Oracle Recruiting Cloud Implementation Specialist.
- Experience with other Oracle HCM Cloud modules (e.g., Core HR, Talent Management, Learning).
- Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
