Our insurance clients engage us to solve their most complex problems, helping them to shape and deliver a strategy in response to new competition, the increased focus on the Digital environment, and the rise of the number of InsurTechs revolutionising the competitive landscape. As part of this team, you'll work alongside a team of Insurance specialists from across Insurance markets and will be able to quickly build upon your existing industry knowledge and consultancy skills to develop your expertise.
We will be looking to you to help lead project teams and develop the talent and insight in our community. As part of Insurance Operations, you will be able to work with clients in sensitive environments, building trust-based relationships and providing positive impact and sound advice to the Executive Committee and Board.
Preferred subject matter expertise in one or more detailed areas of the UK insurance industry and market, including macro trends (regulatory, economic, and business factors) and disruptive technologies (AI, Automation and Digital) that are driving change and impacting business models of key institutions.

Professional experience needs to include:
- Determine the most appropriate cost approach, tailored to the client needs.
- Lead and oversee end-to-end Cost Transformation engagements, ensuring the highest standards of delivery, quality, and the achievement of measurable business outcomes.
- Collaborate with wider teams in Deloitte to pull in regulatory, functional, data and technology expertise to support shaping and mobilising multi-year / multi-disciplinary cost transformation programmes.
- Ensure the robust analytical underpinning of an engagement covering baseline, quantification of opportunities and benefit cases.
- Provide respectful challenge and identify a portfolio of opportunities.
- Develop client relationships and manage effective programme governance.
- Support, manage and lead joint client/consulting teams.
- Actively manage financials, key risks and issues.
- Develop and refine our go to market collateral.
- Manage diverse teams with an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
- Build business relationships, originate sales and lead key elements of the sales process.
