As an Associate Director in our Technology and Transformation SAP practice you will specialise as an SAP Finance Architect, where you will have the opportunity to:

• Guide clients to understand, select and deliver different deployment approaches for their S/4HANA transformation program (e.g. Greenfield, Brownfield, Selective, Cloud, CFIN etc).
• Manage and deliver architecture and roadmaps on large-scale S/4HANA transformation programmes across the Finance landscape.
• Lead teams of high-performing functional consultants to design and build SAP finance enabled business solutions for delivery of large-scale S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Plan and lead high-level and detailed design workshops for the Finance architecture, collecting business requirements and mapping out business processes.
• Design end-to-end solutions and ensure deliverables are consistent with design principles, standards and methodologies.
• Ensure the SAP finance solution design integrates into the client\\\’s broader technology eco-system, and architect/design integration with connected applications to ensure seamless end-to-end processes.
• Provide thought leadership and develop external and internal market eminence through different marketing strategies/approaches.
• Develop implementation plans that maximise the potential of SAP technology whilst minimising implementation risk.
• Develop and foster strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, with alliance partners (e.g. SAP) and with your internal Deloitte network.
• Support sales processes by contributing to compelling and commercial attractive client proposals and leading the Finance response to opportunities.
• Lead practice development activities to support sales initiatives and internal capability development.
• Mentor and lead members of your team and help us to develop our junior talent.
• Work with the latest SAP technology including AI and automation innovations.
• Work across multiple traditional and emerging client industries.
• Access SAP and professional developmental training through internal (e.g. Deloitte University) and external provision (e.g. via SAP Learning Hub). Attain and maintain SAP certification.

To be successful in this role you are required to demonstrate experience of:

• Subject matter expertise and hands on implementation of SAP S/4HANA Central Finance covering both integration with SAP and non-SAP source systems.
• Functional design and build of SAP S/4HANA core Financial Accounting (FI) and Management Accounting (CO).
• Understanding of non-Finance SAP modules including Sourcing and Procurement (MM), Supply Chain, Sales (SD) and Asset Management (PM).
• Driving the design of the SAP Finance Enterprise Structure and data model aligned to your client\\\’s organisation and business structures.
• Leading the client in their mapping and reconciliation processes.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, concepts, and processes.
• Working in an architectural capacity on transformation programmes involving S/4HANA, and the various deployment solutions especially Central Finance.
• Execution and management of configuration in multiple SAP S/4HANA modules.
• Knowledge of SAP innovations, roadmap and SAP Best Practices for S/4HANA Finance and integrated modules.
• Guiding the team through the project governance frameworks including planning activities, management of project risks, issues and change requests.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with clients and colleagues both on and offshore.
• Planning fit to standard workshop topics and approach to ensure the team can translate the requirements into a functional design.
• Acting as Design Authority and ensuring the end-to-end quality of the SAP Finance solution.
• Demonstrable experience of Agile working practices on SAP implementations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to forge strong professional relationships with your clients, leaders and peers.
• Qualified/Part-Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Ability to get Security Clearance, to support activities in the Public Sector.
• Knowledge of broader architectural principles and considerations.
• Knowledge on middleware applications that support integration outside of SAP.
