As an AI Delivery Lead within our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of finance. You will leverage your technical expertise, industry experience, and leadership skills to oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex AI projects. This includes managing project teams, building strong client relationships, providing technical guidance, ensuring successful project outcomes, and consistently meeting deadlines and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage cross-functional AI project teams, overseeing all aspects of project delivery from initiation to deployment and ongoing support.
- Provide deep technical expertise in Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies, designing innovative solutions that help clients meet strategic business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, effectively communicating project progress, managing expectations, and addressing concerns.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to the team, ensuring the development of high-quality AI solutions that meet client requirements.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Support business-development efforts by contributing to proposals, identifying new opportunities, and presenting AI solutions to potential clients.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI, contributing to Deloitte's thought-leadership and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Proven experience delivering production-ready AI/ML/LLM solutions, including model training, optimisation, and deployment. Specific project examples required.
- Generative AI expertise: experience leading the delivery of AI and LLMs in the financial services industry including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), GraphRAG, query expansion, map-reduce, maximum marginal relevance retrieval and other GenAI techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platform providers (minimum of one): AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Proficiency in data engineering (ETL, data warehousing, big data technologies).
- Experience with data quality, governance, and security in financial services is essential.
- Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience delivering AI solutions, with a proven track record of leading and managing technical teams.
- Deep experience in the financial services industry.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience in a client-facing consulting role is highly desirable.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Azure AI Engineer Associate, PMP) are a plus.
