On behalf of Deloitte, AMS are looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect/Technical Lead for a rolling contract (initial 6-month contract, moving to 12-month rolling or perm conversion, per your preference).

This is a remote working engagement open to UK OR Ireland based candidates. You would be working for Deloitte's Dublin-based consultancy via an Umbrella or Ltd. engagement.

Purpose of the role:

This is an excellent opportunity to join Deloitte Digital, one of the world's leading digital transformation consultancies, delivering large-scale Salesforce solutions within the Public Health sector.

As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you'll step into a strategically important programme for a major Public Health client, working as the senior technical leader in a highly capable, collaborative delivery team of around 25 professionals spanning Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, business analysis, and development.

This is not a run-of-the-mill contract - it's a chance to shape, lead and evolve complex Salesforce solutions that directly impact public services and the people who rely on them. If the relationship works well both ways there is excellent scope for this to become a long-term contracting role.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the design of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions for a major clients across EMEA, including in the public health space.

  • Take ownership of technical delivery, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and delivered to a high standard.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, translating complex technical concepts into clear options and recommendations for stakeholders and client design authorities.

  • Oversee solution planning and estimation, contributing to tenders and project proposals where required.

  • Guide and mentor delivery teams, driving best practice in Salesforce architecture, development, and integration.

  • Conduct regular quality reviews to ensure technical deliverables meet Deloitte Digital's high standards.

  • Foster innovation and continuous improvement in design and delivery approaches.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, BAs, and off-site tech teams, to align technical delivery with client goals.

The skills you'll need:

  • Proven experience designing and delivering complex Salesforce solutions in an enterprise environment.

  • Deep technical expertise as a Salesforce Technical Architect - not just functional or business-focused.

  • Solid experience with integration patterns and tools such as Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, or similar middleware.

  • Excellent grasp of architectural design patterns, solution options, and trade-offs - with the ability to present these confidently to design authorities.

  • Strong consulting and communication skills - able to engage with clients, shape solutions, and lead technical discussions.

  • Agile delivery experience and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

  • Multiple Salesforce certifications expected, particularly within the Architect domain; broader certifications such as TOGAF or SAFe are a plus.

  • Experience responding to tenders or inputting into solution proposals is highly desirable.

Next Steps:

For UK-Based candidates the role is likely to be assessed as inside-IR35.

This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or Ltd. engagement model.
