About the role: As a Director, the successful applicant will have responsibility for the following: Lead the sustainability reporting and assurance team, supporting the development of a growing team through mentoring and coaching staff. Play a key role in client business development activities for sustainability, leading our go to market activities, demonstrating ability to build relationships, generate leads and expand our opportunities in this area. Leading complex sustainability assurance engagements across all industries, acting in the capacity of \’ E ngagement Director, taking ownership for all aspects of engagement delivery from scoping, planning, testing, evaluating and concluding and team selection through to delivery, quality management, budgetary control and client communications. Leading an innovative approach to our sustainability assurance service offering. Leveraging your in depth knowledge of the sustainability landscape to enable you to act in the capacity of \’trusted advisor\’ for client stakeholders, leading key relationships. Lead the development of thought leadership and market eminence related to sustainability, acting as a voice in the market. About you: Must have external audit experience and accredited to be an auditor (Essential) with managerial experience on complex engagements Must be fully qualified in ACA/ACCA or equivalent Knowledge and experience across all spectrums of sustainability (i.e. Environmental, Social and Governance) Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks e.g. TCFD, GRI, UN SDG, UN PRI, CSRD/NFRD. SFDR, EU Taxonomy etc. Demonstrate abilities to develop assurance frameworks using ISAE 3000 standard, or similar. Experience assessing the impact of climate change risks across a range of industries Outstanding academics and relevant qualifications (e.g. sustainable development, qualified accountant, environmental sustainability etc.) If you believe that you meet most of the criteria above, we advise you to apply.
