We are seeking a professional and experienced Breakfast Chef / Chef de Partie to join our established kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled chef who thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment and takes pride in delivering high standards of food quality and kitchen compliance.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, cooking and service of breakfast for both coach parties and private hotel guests. Breakfast service can be high volume and requires strong organisation, efficiency and consistency.
Duties
- Preparing ingredients and components for evening meals and restaurant service as directed by the Head Chef and Sous Chef
- Assisting with evening coaching services as required
- Supporting the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Maintaining excellent kitchen standards, including cleaning and correct food storage procedures in line with Environmental Health Officer (EHO) regulations
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working within a busy commercial kitchen
- A relevant Food Safety / Health & Hygiene certificate
- Strong knowledge of food safety, storage and kitchen compliance standards
- Ability to work independently and manage breakfast service efficiently
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A professional and reliable approach to work
Working Hours
This role will involve early morning shifts and some evenings to support coaching services and restaurant operations. We are looking for a dedicated and dependable chef who is committed to maintaining high culinary and operational standards.
