We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our Yahso family. You will be the face behind the bar, crafting classic cocktails, Caribbean-inspired drinks, and delivering a warm, unforgettable customer experience. Ideal candidates have strong mixology skills, a friendly personality, and a passion for Jamaican culture and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet guests with a warm, friendly "Yahso" and provide exceptional service.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including Jamaican rum-based cocktails, tropical drinks, and house specialties.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the bar menu, including seasonal and signature drinks.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
- Uphold all liquor laws and company policies regarding responsible alcohol service.
- Engage with guests, answer questions about the menu, and make recommendations.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems.
- Assist in bar opening and closing procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
- Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a fast-paced or Caribbean-themed environment.
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with Jamaican culture, drinks, and ingredients is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Must be 18 years or older.
