Join our team as a Nursing Associate (Band 4) supporting physical health in inpatient mental health services across Bromley, Bexley, and Greenwich. This role offers a unique opportunity to promote physical and mental health parity and deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver physical health clinics within inpatient units.
- Perform physical health checks, including assessments using NEWS2, BMI, blood pressure, blood tests, and ECGs.
- Take medical histories, including lifestyle factors and screening program participation.
- Create personalized care plans and support ongoing physical health needs.
- Assist with physical health audits, equipment maintenance, and training colleagues in physical health interventions.
- Work independently under supervision, ensuring responsive, holistic patient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Nursing Associate with competence in physical health assessments.
- Ability to undertake comprehensive assessments and record physiological measurements accurately.
