As a Caretaker, you will work collaboratively with our Site Manager with responsibility for the safety and operation of our school site. We are therefore seeking the right candidate to join our enthusiastic team who is committed to supporting our school to be a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment for our children to thrive in by maintaining a safe, compliant, clean and secure school premises, including buildings, furniture & fittings, and grounds ensuring that resources are managed to meet the needs of the school and to comply with all relevant Health and Safety Regulations.
Throughout all work in this role, the post holder must show integrity, have high expectations of themselves and others and consideration to uphold standards of care for children, staff, parents and community. Evolution Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. To this end, you will be required to undergo pre‑employment checks, including a social media search. This post will come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and a successful applicant would be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations. An enhanced DBS check will be required.
