Delivery Solutions (DELSOL) Ltd – proud winners of West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year 2025 – are growing, and we’re looking for an experienced credit controller/accounts administrator.
Primary Duties
- Ensuring that credit control is managed effectively by contacting customers by both telephone and email
- Processing bank receipts daily
- Completing the bank reconciliation and sales ledger reconciliations daily
- Issuing monthly statements, resending invoices when requested
- Offering and onboarding customers on to direct debit
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers as well as internal departments
- Monthly debtor meetings reporting to upper management any potential issues
- Supporting the wider finance team as and when required
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.
Experience
- Experience in an accounts receivable position
- Experience with Sage 50 desirable
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Proven attention to detail skills
Person Specification
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable but not essential
- Able to take initiative and solve problems
- Works well under pressure
- To be self-driven and wanting to succeed with drive and enthusiasm
- Team player
